Q. How does the Rewards Points system (G-Points) work?

A.  With every purchase you make you gather G-Points.  You accrue these at the rate of 1 g-point for every $1 spent on the Web Store ONLY. At the time of your next purchase (after the initial startup) you can redeem these g-points at the rate of 5% ($5 for every 100 g-points earned), for a maximum of 5% off any one Web Store order. You will be asked how many g-points you would like to use on the current order at the time of checkout.  The Web Store will track the g-points that you accrue. For any g-points to be collected and tracked, you must have a shopping account on shop.glasweld.com.

You can also accrue 100 g-points for writing a product review.  These can also be used at the time of the current order, or you can save them for later use.

Please note that g-points can only accrue and be used on Web Store orders only.  Any phone orders will not accrue g-points. If you decide to use g-points, you automatically agree to these terms and conditions of the Rewards Points system.

Q. It appears that appropriate discounts are not being included in my order.

A. We have noticed on rare occasions that an included discount, for example buying multiple containers of Polishing Compound, are not being included on the final invoice.  Typically, when this occurs, it is best to try one or both of the following:

  • Attempt to clear your browser cache.  All browsers allow one to clear the contents of their browser cache.  This document can help you in this regard.
  • Use another web browser.  For example, if you are having issues with your order while using Internet Explorer, try using Firefox or Chrome.
  • If either of these solutions do not work, please call us to adjust @ 800.321.2597

Q. On the Checkout page there is no way to complete the order because it tells me my Shipping Information is incorrect.

A. First, try the suggestions offered in the previous question – clear your cache and/or try another web browser. You can also do the following:

  • Verify all details of your shipping address are correct.  You may even have to type the word “street” instead of “st.”, for example.
  • Save your cart and return at another time – even just a few minutes later.
  • Verify that the Ship to a different address checkbox is NOT checked.  We have noticed that most users have the same Billing and Shipping address but the Shop will default to check these as different.  This can cause Shipping information to return false information.

We use plugins on our site that talk directly to our shipping partners.  It has been observed that these links will occasionally break, but they will quickly be restored.

Q. Can I return products purchased from GlasWeld?

A. GlasWeld will accept returns within 14 days of the purchase invoice date.  All returns must be pre-approved and include a Return Authorization (RA) number. GlasWeld will charge a 15% restocking fee, plus the value of any damaged items or supplies that have been used, are less than full, or are not in resale condition.

Q. What is your warranty on GlasWeld products?

A. We guarantee our products to be free from defect or breakage.

Windshield Repair Products

  • Lifetime Warranty. All GlasWeld ProVac™ Injectors (ecoVac, G3, and Standard models) are covered by a lifetime warranty to original purchaser against manufacturing defects. Damage to this ProVac™ Injector System resulting from tampering, accident, abuse, negligence, unauthorized repairs or alterations or other causes not related to problems with materials or workmanship are not covered in this warranty. This warranty does not cover normal wear on the seals. Use of resins other than GlasWeld resins will void the warranty. Repairs made not related to problems with materials or workmanship will be charged at regular factory prices.
  • One Year Warranty. All other tools and supplies are warranted for one year from date of purchase. All warranties are for normal use as recommended in this manual. Damage caused by misuse or abuse is not covered under this warranty.
  • Resin Warranty. GlasWeld Resins have a shelf life of 18 months and are guaranteed for that period.

GlasWeld makes no other warranty of any kind whatever, expressed or implied, and all implied warranties of fitness for a particular purpose which exceeds the above mentioned obligation are hereby disclaimed by GlasWeld and excluded from this warranty. This warranty gives you specific legal rights and you may also have other rights which vary from state to state. The obligation of the warrantor is solely to repair or replace the product. The warrantor is not liable for any incidental or consequential damages due to any such alleged defect. Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitations of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitations or exclusions may not apply to you.

Glass Scratch Removal Products

  • One Year Warranty. The items in all Gforce Scratch Removal Systems are warranted for one year from the date of purchase to the original purchaser against defects in materials and workmanship. This warranty applies only to the original registered purchaser. Damage to any item in your the Gforce Scratch Removal System resulting from tampering, accident, abuse, negligence, unauthorized repairs or alterations, or other causes not related to problems with materials or workmanship are not covered in this warranty. This warranty does not cover normal wear. Use of polishing compounds or other products that are not provided by GlasWeld for the GlasWeld Scratch Removal System will void this warranty. Repairs made that are not covered under this warranty will be charged at regular factory prices.

This warranty applies only to the original registered purchaser. Damage to any item in your the Gclear Headlight Restoration System resulting from tampering, accident, abuse, negligence, unauthorized repairs or alterations, or other causes not related to problems with materials or workmanship are not covered in this warranty. This warranty does not cover normal wear. Use of coatings, polishing compounds or other products that are not provided by GlasWeld for the Gclear Headlight Restoration System will void this warranty. Repairs made that are not covered under this warranty will be charged at regular factory prices.
